The Civic Health Compact was co-designed by over a dozen health and civic leaders to assist health care delivery organizations in systematically incorporating civic engagement into their policies and practices.

As more health care organizations make equity a strategic priority, the goal of the Compact is to provide concrete and actionable steps health care delivery organizations can take to address some of the upstream drivers of health inequities and optimize civic engagement amongst their staff, patients, and communities.
