Who I Am:
I’m a native Virginian and a primary care physician on Chicago’s West Side. My life’s work: to advance the human right to health, broadly defined, for all Americans. I lead mission-driven teams through periods of growth, uncertainty and high-stakes challenges, across the public, private and nonprofit sectors.

For the past two decades, I’ve managed and trained health care workers from across the country in political organizing, health policy education, messaging strategy and media cultivation.

Why I’m Here:
The advancement of health through our civil, political and economic rights is the cause of our time. Nothing is more uniquely American than exercising one's right to vote for policies that save and transform lives. Now we must protect that right.
