MAYA RAMY, MS

Who I Am:
Maya is currently completing her dual MD/MPH at Texas A&M University Health Science Center and will be applying to residency in Neurology this year. She graduated from Rice University with a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Neuroscience in 2017 and went on to receive a Master of Science in Medical Sciences from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in 2018. Maya is passionate about public health and health policy and has had experiences working with the American Medical Association and Texas Medical Association writing policy and participating in advocacy work. She recently completed an internship with ILRU and Memorial Hermann focused on disability advocacy in healthcare.
